An Optical illusion the size of a village

Felice varini is known for creating illusions of flat graphics superimposed on three dimensional spaces. These illusions play with the rules of human perception and constructed perspective, with painted lines aligning in space to look like a flat graphic from a fixed viewpoint.

Now, Varini has taken on the challenge of working at the scale of the village, superimposing perfect circles on the town of Vercorin in the Swiss Alps. From inside the village, the graphic is fragmented and impossible to read, but from a nearby vantage point, the lines come together to form a series of rings.

The Kuwaiti Parking Solution

You know how you park your car in the Kuwaiti heat during the day? And when you come back, even plastic cups manage to melt. Well you see how powerful our sun is? I have no idea why we don’t use that in a productive way!

Envision Solar company company came up with this solar grove. Basically, its a shade with solar panels on top of a parking shade that collect solar energy. It is also a impermeable shade that will relatively protect the cars from the heat of the sun, UV rays and rain.

Above is a picture of Dell company’s parking lot. The solar panels collect the power that generates the company’s facility. Also, they inserted chargers stands to re-charge electric cars parked – I think that’s too advanced for us.

Such ideas should save us from the hassle of Tarsheed and co..

Vintage Luggage

I am a big fan of vintage luggage, especially trunks. Actually I even like modern type trunks. I think they are very good looking, but yes they can be a bit impractical. I am looking for something to use as a decorative set for my place.

This website has a nice collection.

Jennifer’s Body

Yes, Megan Fox does look absolutely stunning in this picture. But do NOT let that deceive you! The movie is simply gruesome! Its a thriller that’s plot is basically all about Jennifer (Megan Fox) turning into a man-eater that seduces men and then eats them to satisfy her hunger. No story what so ever! And I see Megan as a gross person after this movie.

I think this was a horror movie with all of the flesh and blood involved. As much as I don’t mind looking at wounds and blood (Grey’s anatomy style), I mind this BIG TIME! It freaked me out. I couldn’t even watch the movie, just kept on messaging friends to keep busy.

Dinner in The Sky

You thought that eating at the Kuwait towers is worth it just for the view? Haha nothing compares to this!

The picture above is actually real. A brilliant guy came up with an idea of a hanging platform such as above carried by a crane above anything you want! You can have a meeting done there, dinner or even a wedding! The people are seated on race car seats, buckled up and lifted to the sky! They have a permanent crane stationed in Las Vegas (I bet you its always booked) and another in Europe transportable anywhere around the world!

What a romantic dinner or wedding that could make. Talking about creativity, literally the sky is the limit!

PS. Hewlet Packard did a meeting on this in Dubai, so it isn’t that far-fetched to bring it in Kuwait.
